TERMS & CONDITIONS

PRIVATE CLIENTS

As of January 2023


Terms and Conditions set out the expectations for the client and the therapist. They ensure that both parties are protected in the unlikely event that a disagreement occurs. Please read the terms and conditions and contact the therapist if you have any questions.

 

First assessment appointment

  • You will receive an email or text confirming the details of your child’s first appointment, including date, time, and location.
  • At the end of the first appointment, a discussion about whether your child requires further therapy will take place.

 

Therapy appointments

  • Therapy sessions up to an hour or as highlighted on your booking. This hour may include direct work with you / your child, discussion of progress, demonstration / explanation of follow-up activities with you.

 

Fees

  • Payment is made at the time of booking online.

   

Health insurance

  • Payment is accepted from health insurance providers which agree to pay the full amount and in a timely manner.

 

Cancellations

  • If the therapist needs to make a cancellation, the client will be notified as soon as possible and an alternative appointment date will be provided at the time or as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Cancellations by clients must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If a cancellation is not made, the client will incur a 100% charge.

 

Reports and programmes

  • Reports and programmes are chargeable as per price list and paid online.

 

Complaints

  • Please contact the therapist if you feel that you have cause for dissatisfaction about any aspect of the service.

 

Safeguarding

  • All therapists have a current DBS certificate.

  • All therapists will have read and understood the latest version of KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education).

  • In the event of a safeguarding concern where the client or client’s child or another person is at risk of harm, the therapist has a legal obligation to share that information with relevant professionals in line with the Safeguarding Children’s Act.

Declaration

By accepting the above terms and conditions, the client is agreeing the following:

  • I agree that the therapists can liaise with other professionals when it is in my child’s best interests.
  • I understand that the therapists will be storing and processing my child’s personal information (please see privacy policy).

  • Therapy sessions may include direct work with students, discussion of progress, demonstration / explanation of follow-up activities.


Fees

  • Fees to be paid to Speech Therapy Warwickshire Limited within 28 days of date on invoice.


Cancellations

  • If the therapist makes a cancellation, the client will be notified as soon as possible and an alternative appointment date will be provided at the time or as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Cancellations by the clients must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If a cancellation is not made, the client will incur a 100% charge.
